ISO / PAS 17712

The ISO organization has January 17th, 2003 launched a so-called PAS covering mechanical high security seals. These guidelines are not a new ISO standard but rather a new guideline for evaluating mechanical container seals.  The PAS is valid for 3 years and there after it can either be renewed for another period of 3 years or at that stage become an actual ISO International Standard. It is expected that C-TPAT carriers as well as ASTM will recommend the use of this new PAS for classification of container seals.

C-TPAT

New Security Regulations and Recommendations aiming at improving security in the light of terrorist threats are being progressed. Particularly with regard to shipments to the US . C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) is a cooperative endeavour between the trade community and US Customs Service to develop, enhance, and maintain effective security throughout the global supply chain. The result of this is that all shippers will need to provide their own bolt seals which are to be affixed where and when the container is loaded and not at the terminal.

To support this we are packaging Bolt Seals and Cable seals down to 200 and 300 pieces.
