the early days of container shipping, all containers were closed and secured
by ordinary padlocks with keys. But the key for a padlock on a container
presented a problem as the keys were often delayed or lost at final destination.
This caused Michael Remark to invent a locking device that had to be cheaper
than a padlock but with the same security.
In other words: " A padlock intended to be opened by a bolt-cutter". With his first design, Michael Remark founded in 1974 OneSeal A/S. OneSeal has from then rapidly grown to become the world's leading manufacturer of what is today known as the High Security Seal. OneSeal A/S is today the leader of a world-wide industry and hold it's own representative offices in Singapore and the USA, official agents on 6 continents and in more than 30 countries. On May 1st 2005, OneSeal celebrated its 30th anniversary. |
